Smart Gas
Dr. Yinka Opeke is the CEO of Smart Gas, a Nigeria based tech company operating in the downstream gas sector. Smart Gas is the only technology driven, app based platform designed from the ground up for clients to experience a more convenient way to purchase cooking gas, increase transaction efficiency, and optimize user experience from the comfort of their homes. Smart Gas Foundation (SGF), the not-for-profit arm of Smart Gas, a duly registered 501c3 in Houston and also Nigeria has successfully donated over 8,500 pre-filled 3kg cooking gas cylinders with burners to less privileged communities in Nigeria. They also conduct advocacy programs on transition from solid fuels to safe use of cooking gas in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 7.
