Thomas O. Women Network (TOWN) identifies and celebrates Nigerian women, called TOWN Icons, who engage in not-for-profit initiatives as a way of giving back to society.
On the 6th of December 2014 during the outbreak of the Ebola virus, TOWN launched their soap project tagged “Bath a Child, Preserve a Life”, #BathAChild as it was popularly coined on social media, which focused on the less privileged women in Nigeria to enable them to beat the virus and other communicable diseases. They achieved this feat by donating free soaps and educating less privileged women in society on the importance and benefit of ensuring that they and their children maintain good hygiene.
Home Ownership Made Easy (HOME) was designed for upwardly mobile, smart working women, seeking real estate investment opportunities in Texas. It enables a group of women to come together to invest in Houston real estate market at as low as $25,000 each. The cost of investment in HOME is significantly lower than typical investments because our vision is to empower women through the provision of viable and affordable real estate investment opportunities.
